Big Ears Music Festival

Big Ears is a world-renowned festival that brings people together to celebrate art and music from around the world. Hosted at various venues throughout Downtown Knoxville including theaters, churches, warehouses, museums and galleries, we love that you can easily walk from one performance to another while feeling like you are entering an entirely new world. During the festival, discover musical artists and attend additional events such as literary readings, talks, workshops and exhibitions that often take place in unique locations and enhance the cultural experience. Check out the artist lineup and purchase day or festival passes to attend Big Ears. You may discover your new favorite artist this year!
Rossini Festival
April 20-21, 2024
Rossini Festival is an admission-free International Street Fair that takes place in Downtown Knoxville. Hosted by the Knoxville Opera, this lively event offers something for everyone. As you stroll the streets of Downtown Knoxville, you can explore works from dozens of artisans and stop by the outdoor stages to watch performances spanning opera, classical, jazz, gospel, ethnic music, ballet, modern and ethnic dance. Also, make sure to arrive at Rossini hungry so you can experience delicious food and beverages from many different cultures. Have little ones in your family? There is a kids zone hosted by the YMCA. This entertaining educational festival is one we never miss, so make sure you check it out!
Dogwood Arts Festival
April 26-28, 2024
The Dogwood Arts Festival is a longstanding Knoxville tradition. Throughout the years, this anticipated event has grown and now takes place in the newly revamped Performance Lawn at World’s Fair Park. During the festival, you can shop from more than 100 fine arts vendors, enjoy food from a wide range of vendors, and watch your kids participate in fun kid-friendly activities. On Saturday and Sunday, musicians, dancers and performers take the stage at the World’s Fair Amphitheater. Additionally, you can shop goods from local makers and visit community organizations that set up along the waterfront. This event truly honors the creative culture of Knoxville and leaves festival-goers feeling inspired. Mark your calendar for the Dogwood Arts Festival now so you don’t miss it.
